  1. Not Scheduling Movers Early Enough - Did you know that late spring and late summer is when over half of all moves take place? If you're moving during this "rush hour," and you don't schedule your movers early enough, you may be left with a less than desirable option. One of the most important moving tips is to give yourself at least three to four months to schedule your movers.
