Celebrate Meatball Day and get some great comfort food from these Beavercreek restaurants.

Meatball Day isn't one of the big national holidays, but that doesn't mean you should avoid it! Celebrated on March 9, this holiday cherishes all things subs, spaghetti, or pizza. Our REALTORS® recommend you head out to these local Beavercreek Italian restaurants for a great meal.

  • Marion's Piazza – 1320 N. Fairfield Rd., Beavercreek, OH
Marion's Piazza has been a popular spot to get delicious thin-crust pizza and other Italian favorites for over 50 years as ownership has remained in the same family. The restaurant has earned many honors, including being named the best Dayton-area pizza in over 37 local newspaper and magazine surveys. It's even been named the top independent pizza restaurant in the nation by Pizza Today magazine. So what are you waiting for? You can get your fill of meatballs with the restaurant's meatball sub, which also includes spaghetti sauce, parmesan cheese, and onions, or try the spaghetti with meatballs. If you'd rather have a pizza, order one with your choice of toppings, or go for the Marion's Deluxe with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, order the ham and sauerkraut pizza.

  • Cassano's – 3915 Indian Ripple Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45440
Cassano's began by selling the family's pizza in the back of their small grocery store in 1953 and has since expanded to several area locations. Their signature dough is so in-demand that Cassano's operates a Dough King website that sells its own dough and uses other recipes to fulfill orders. Visit the restaurant to order the meatball sub or spaghetti with meatballs. Or enjoy a personal-sized pizza or several larger sizes to share with a group. The Super Deluxe — loaded with pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms, onions, red and green peppers, banana peppers, and extra cheese — is a customer favorite, and if you're ordering for a party, consider choosing a few 30-inch pies.

  • Jimmy's Italian Kitchen – 3002 Woodman Dr., Kettering, OH 45420
You can enjoy everything from a gourmet pizza to a lunchtime sub to Italian favorites like linguine with clam sauce at Jimmy's Italian Kitchen. Choose a pizza with a traditional or a thicker Sicilian crust. Then add toppings of your choice, such as bacon, ham, meatballs, anchovies, broccoli, pineapple, and more. Several gourmet pizza options are also offered, including a Meat Lover's Pizza covered in meatballs, pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon, or a Veggie Lover's Pizza with tomatoes, onions, spinach, green peppers, black olives, and mushrooms.

  • The Flying Pizza – 2640 Colonel Glenn Hwy., Beavercreek/Fairborn, OH 45324
Located across from Wright State University, The Flying Pizza serves up hand-tossed Neapolitan as well as Sicilian square pizza. All ingredients used are fresh, and their dough and sauce are made on the premises. Order pizza by the slice with your choice of cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom, or try a larger-sized pie with a wider range of toppings. Customer favorites include Pete's Favorite with pepperoni, sliced meatballs, and mushrooms, and the Meat-Za, topped with sliced meatballs, pepperoni, and sausage.
