A special permit is required to fish here, with daily and annual permits being available through the park's website.   The Little Miami River is one of the great fishing resources in our region, and there are many places to access it. John Bryan State Park, with its 752 acres of rambling woodlands alongside the river's banks, is one of the best. The river supports largemouth and smallmouth bass along with panfish, walleye, catfish, and more. It's a great kayaking destination as well, and John Bryan State Park offers plenty of river access, plus a campground for tents and RVs. 
  
  
• Dominick Lofino Park - 640 Grange Hall Road, Beavercreek, OH 45430
  A mere stone's throw from these Beavercreek homes for sale, the 36-acre Dominick Lofino Park is a destination for a wide variety of outdoor recreation, including fishing. The park includes a large pond that is stocked to maintain a healthy fish population. Some impressive largemouth bass are caught here, and the pond is catch-and-release only, helping to ensure that the fish continue to grow. A fishing dock and ample bank access are available in the park, which hosts an annual Kids' Fishing Derby every September. 
  
  
• Rainbow Lakes - 3491 OH-235, Fairborn, OH 45324
  A privately owned park managed specifically for fishing, Rainbow Lakes includes several stocked lakes and ponds alongside the Mad River. The trip is well worth the effort, as this 2,830-acre reservoir within Caesar Creek State Park is one of the best fishing destinations in Southwest Ohio. The lake offers healthy populations of largemouth bass, crappie, saugeye, white bass, catfish, and perch, and the state park includes excellent access and modern boat launch facilities.
