One of our area's premiere outdoor venues, Creekside Reserve is a beautiful space for walking or just daydreaming beside Little Beaver Creek, with its floodplain forest and meadows. It's a short walk, so just right if you have little ones.
- Russ Nature Reserve. 2380 Kemp Road, Beavercreek
Donated by Fritz and Dolores Russ in 2008, the Russ Nature Reserve is a great place for youngsters, with its natural playscape in the woods, a wooded playground constructed from cut branches and natural climbing structures, and an apiary where visitors can learn about beekeeping. In addition, there are around 4 miles of trails that lead visitors through meadows and woods. The tree trail will teach you about trees indigenous to the area.

Spring Lakes Park is an excellent place to fish — both for seasoned anglers and novices. Even if the weather's starting to get chilly, you can still enjoy a late summer/early fall outing.
