Fall weather is rolling in, and with it comes all the festivities associated with the season. Here are the local activities you can look forward to.

In Beavercreek, we're ready to welcome fall. There's something about that first crisp fall breeze that signals it's time to regroup and get ready for falling leaves, pumpkins, apple cider, and harvest festivals. If you're new to the neighborhood because you've bought a house in Beavercreek homes for sale, or you're just thinking of becoming a part of the community, fall is a great time to get to know us.

Here are some fabulous attractions our REALTORS® have compiled. So put on a hoodie or sweater, and let's go.

  1. Katie's Pumpkin Barn. 2128 New Germany Trebein Road, Xenia
    Katie's Pumpkin Barn
is the premier venue to pick a pumpkin — or two or 10 — in our area. Pumpkins are ready now, fresh from the field, and ready for choosing. Get your decorative pumpkins or your pumpkins for making delicious treats, like pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin pie. Stack 'em high for a dramatic effect with scarecrows and other fall figures, or save a couple for carving jack-o'lanterns. The versatile pumpkin is your go-to fall fruit for cuisine or decorating.

  2. Coffee Hub Coffee and Bakery. 3375 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek
The Coffee Hub has been serving delicious specialty coffee drinks since 2017. Check out their espresso drinks and cold brew, drip coffee, chai (it's homemade!), teas, frappes, donuts, and baked goods. The Coffee Hub also hosts meetings for large or small groups. Got a corporate event or other small group, get-together? The Coffee Hub is happy to host. The Coffee Hub also has a mission to help people recovering from addiction by serving as a second-chance employer. and by supporting the non-profit Hope Hub, which helps women break free of addiction.

  3. Lucas Brothers Fall Festival. 3229 Ferry Rd, Bellbrook
Returning for the seventh year, the Lucas Brothers Fall Festival is set to start Friday, Sept. 23, and run through Oct. 29. Festival days are Fridays, 5-9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Some of the fun activities for you and your family: hayride, pumpkin scavenger hunt, children's corn maze, fall fest shop, fun field activities, 6-acre corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkin patch, farm animals, community fire pit, photo ops, sunflower patch, grass tunnel, children's play area, peddle bikes, and barrel train. The festival is just a 10-mile drive from Beavercreek down S. Alpha Bellbrook Road.

  4. Oktoberfest. The Greene Town Center, 4452 Buckeye Lane, Beavercreek
What's fall without Oktoberfest? In Beavercreek, that means heading on down to The Greene on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. It's free, and the whole community is invited to enjoy beer, traditional Oktoberfest food, and live music from Spungewurthy. Proceeds from refreshment sales will go toward the Monument in the Making Project to honor Jim "Pee Wee" Martin, Private First Class, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. Local resident Martin and the 506th are being recognized for their bravery in World War II.

  5. Country Applefest. Warren County Fairgrounds. 665 N. Broadway St., Lebanon
What's better in the fall than delicious, field-grown apples? To celebrate Ohio's rich tradition of harvesting apples, the folks of Lebanon County every year host a two-day festival featuring more than 300 arts, crafts, and food vendors. Country Applefest, set for Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23-24, starts at 10 a.m. Admission is $1, while those 12 and under get in free. It's a 40-minute drive from Beavercreek on I-675 S.
