If you're looking to buy a house from Beavercreek homes for sale, or you've just recently moved into one, we're thrilled to tell you about all the amenities our community has to offer — not least of which are our outdoorsy venues. Whether it's going for a vigorous run or hike in nature, cycling through the verdant countryside on a well-maintained trail, or playing a recreational activity outdoors with family or friends, Beavercreek is where it's at.
Our REALTORS® are thrilled to introduce you to some of Beavercreek's best outdoor attractions. Here goes.
- Beavercreek Golf Course. 2800 New Germany Trebein Road, Beavercreek
Beavercreek Golf Course is a public golf facility that offers the feel of a private course. Enjoy beautifully kept greens, while partaking of clinics and camps, lessons, and special events, all managed by an expert staff. What's more, the course is located just 1.5 miles from the I-675 corridor. Oh, and did we mention it's a 4.5-star course listed in Golf Digest's Places to Play? So come on out, play a few rounds and see.
- Karohl Park Disc Golf Course. 2940 Hohl Drive, Beavercreek,
If you've never tried disc golf, don't let the name fool you. It's nothing like traditional golf, but aficionados say it's lots more fun. And there's no better place to try it out than Beavercreek's Karohl Park Disc Golf Course. It's a great activity for a party or family get-together, especially with the new Karohl Park Shelter with a capacity for 70 people.
- Fisherman's Headquarters. 142 S. Keowee St., Dayton
There are lots of places to fish in our area — like Phillips Park, Dominick Lofino Park, and Little Beaver Creek, for starters — but there's also a great place to get your bait and gear: Fisherman's Headquarters. Whether you're just a pond fisherman or you're ready to ramp up to flyfishing or catfishing, Fisherman's HQ can get you started. The knowledgeable staff can direct you to the best brands and the right equipment for your angling adventure.
- Phillips Park. 2092 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek
Speaking of fishing — and hiking, picnicking, and relaxing, while we're at it — partake in all these activities or no activities at all at beautiful Phillips Park. Bring the kids early in the morning (best time to catch fish) and teach them the basics. Not an angler? Phillips Park is a perfect place for home base — set up at a shelter, then go for a hike in nearby Beavercreek Wetlands. When you get back, your coals should be ready for a cookout. You'll be hungry after that hike.
- Creekside Reserve. 761 Factory Road, Beavercreek
Creekside Reserve is one of the jewels of the Greene County Parks and Trails. It's a superb hiking venue where you can enjoy views of meadows, the Little Beaver Creek, and a floodplain forest. It's a perfect hiking destination for summer, but outdoor enthusiasts also love it in the fall and, well, any season, for that matter.
- Creekside Cyclery. 1271A N Fairfield Road, Beavercreek
Greene County is a cyclist's dream. There are so many venues where you can enjoy cycling, getting your workout, for sure, but also enjoying the countryside. If you're just starting out cycling and you need a ride and some gear, you'll want to drop in at Creekside Cyclery. The shop offers top-of-the-line bikes and parts, plus expert advice from knowledgeable staff. Need repairs? Creekside Cyclery is the place to go.
