In June, we celebrate summertime. Here in Ohio, we make the most of our summer months with barbecues, swimming, and myriad outdoor activities. Another great summer pastime is dining and/or drinking on local patios — of which we are blessed to have some fabulous options. It's lovely when our favorite restaurants can extend their services to the outdoors, serving food and drinks and providing entertainment outside so we can enjoy the summer while we visit with friends and family.
Did you recently join the Beavercreek community by moving into one of our Beavercreek homes for sale? Welcome! Are you shopping for homes? Our REALTORS® can answer your questions. But in the meantime, come on down and visit any one or all of these great patios and get your summer going.
- The Pub. 39 Greene Blvd., Beavercreek
The Pub is one of our favorite hangouts, no matter the season. You can enjoy pub fare on a par with what you find across the pond (The Pub has a prestigious award for its Fish and Chips from a British ale maker to prove it). And you can dine on the spacious patio, no less. If you've never had Scotch eggs or Bangers and Mash, here's a fun place to indulge. Not to mention, it's a great venue for quaffing Guinness and various ales.
- Pho District. 4474 Glengarry Drive, Beavercreek
Fan of Pho? We've got you covered at Pho District. Dine inside, outside, or order takeout. Start with a beer and some tasty appetizers like you haven't seen before: Seafood Eggroll-cha Gio Hai San; Original Eggroll-cha Gio Truyen Thong (pork and sweet potato); or Crab Rangoon. Follow up with delicious Pho, in all its many guises, or go rogue with a rice dish, such as Com Suon Bi (pork chops) or Com Ga Nuong (chicken). Finish up with delicious Boba Tea.
- CB Bar and Grill. 2495 Commons Blvd., # A1, Beavercreek.
It may be your basic hamburger and beer menu, but what's wrong with that? Eat inside or outside under an umbrella. Lots of appetizers to choose from, but save room for the juicy burgers. Try something different with the Whiskey Burger (bourbon administered to said burger). CB Bar and Grill also has some nice Wings options. If your companion gravitates to the light side, you've plenty of salad options.
- Club Oceano Seafood and Bar. 4429 Cedar Park Drive, Beavercreek
If you love seafood, you can't miss Club Oceano Seafood and Bar. It's seafood and more — as chefs present the fruit of the ocean with new twists — like Cajun seasons, or Southern Style, or Asian. From scrumptious appetizers and soup and salad, to Shrimp and Grits or Red Snapper, you'll love getting your seafood fix at Club Oceano.
- Wandering Griffin Brewery and Restaurant. 3725 Presidential Drive, Beavercreek
It's different — but you'll love Wandering Griffin Brewery and Restaurant, especially if you're a "hop head." Lots of beers from all over to experience in the taproom. Have pizza, wings, a pretzel, Brisket Sandwich or, if calories don't count, the Blue Jacket Dairy Cheese Curds or Pork Rinds.
- Another Broken Egg. 2453 Esquire Drive, Beavercreek
It's not a "typical" breakfast, brunch, or lunch restaurant, but you are going to fall for these southern-inspired dishes at Another Broken Egg. Whether you opt for Crab Cake Benedict or a Mardi Gras Omelette, or Chicken and Waffles, accompanied with a mimosa or unique Rwandan coffee — this could become your go-to place for patio dining in the morning or at noon.
