Hurray for tasty fajitas: one of the best Mexican-inspired dishes you can prepare in your new home from Beavercreek homes for sale. Don't have time to prepare fajitas, despite the fact they're relatively simple to make? Never fear. Why not make it a point to find the best fajitas in your new neighborhood, and why not celebrate your find on August 18, National Fajita Day?
Read on. Our REALTORS® have created some tasty venues for local fajita lovers below.
- Don Patron Mexican Restaurant. 2632 Colonel Glenn Highway, Beavercreek
Don Patron has many tempting Mexican dishes, but among the best is the Fajita Mix dish. Opt for steak, chicken, shrimp, or mix 'em up. There's also a vegetarian option, as well as the super-duper fajita plate, Parrillada Mexicana, with rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, plus carnitas, shrimp, chicken, and beef, cooked with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and peppers. Or, try the Taco Salad Fajita, or Super Fajita Quesadilla.
- Chuy's. 2717 Fairfield Commons, Beavercreek
Chuy's is an Austin-based chain, and it's now in your Beavercreek neighborhood. Famous for its fresh fare, Chuy's of course offers super-fresh fajitas, starting with the house-made, handmade tortilla right off their own comal. Choose beef, chicken, or a combination, marinated in a blend of serrano peppers, lime juice, secret spices, and Shiner Bock beer. Grilled with peppers and onions and served with lettuce, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, Mexican rice, and refried beans, Chuy's fajitas are hard to beat.
- Rusty Taco. 2760 Towne Drive, Beavercreek
Rusty Taco is known for its more offbeat fare, including lower-calorie offerings such as the Chicken or Beef Fajita Taco, piled with the traditional fajita ingredients and fajita-style meat. Come for breakfast and try the Egg and Cheese Fajita. Of course, you'll want to accompany the Fajita Tacos with margaritas, either on the rocks or frozen, with fresh lime juice and "cheap tequila."
- El Toro Mexican Bar and Grill. 4448 Indian Ripple Road, Dayton
The menu of El Toro offers the traditional Mexican foods we all love, including burritos, enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, chile rellenos, and many more. But we're here to celebrate National Fajita Day, so let's look at El Toro's sumptuous fajita offerings: steak, beef, chicken, or shrimp, but also scallops and tilapia for seafood lovers; vegetarian, with mushrooms, bell peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, and onions; Parrillada, with Parrillada steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, or pork; and Hawaiian, with steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas with chunks of fresh pineapple.
- Condado. 4482 Glengarry Drive, Beavercreek
OK, so Condado doesn't exactly offer fajitas, but you can still celebrate the day with some of their "build your own" tacos and bowls. The ingredients are novel and mouth-watering, so dive in and enjoy such options as Pork Taco with queso, pulled pork, gochujang barbecue sauce, pickled jalapeños, and pineapple salsa, or vegetarian or vegan, with vegetable chorizo: poblano peppers, pico de gallo, pickled jalapeños, smoked cheddar, and dirty sauce. Also popular is the Chorizo Taco, with guacamole, house-made chorizo, cilantro plus onions, and queso fresco.
- El Rancho Grande Mexican Grill and Cantina. 3070 Colonel Glenn Highway, Fairborn
El Rancho Grande features a varied menu of seafood, chicken, steak, and several unique dishes. Try the chimichangas, chile rellenos, burritos — or, tada! the fajitas. They're slow-cooked with onions, peppers, and tomatoes. Try chicken, steak, or beef, or opt for tilapia, shrimp, or lobster. Live dangerously and try Fajitas Rancheras, that is, steak cooked with pineapple and other choice accompaniments.
Here's hoping we see you at one of these great restaurants. Questions? Contact Wright-Patt Realty today.
