Beavercreek is full of great local art that will inspire you. Here are the places you should visit.

Getting involved in the arts venues in your new neighborhood is just one of the paths to adventure near Beavercreek homes for sale. Whether you're artistic and eager to get hands-on instruction, you're looking to participate in local shows, or you just enjoy gazing at and possibly acquiring works from local craftsmen and artists, your Beavercreek neighborhood has plenty to offer. Read on and see what our REALTORS® have rounded up for your interest in the arts.

  1. Rosewood Arts Center. 2655 Olson Drive, Kettering
Rosewood Arts Center offers more than 400 classes each year for youth and adults. The center also hosts gallery exhibitions, artist studios, special events, and theater performances. Facilities include a black and white darkroom, as well as studios for glass, ceramics, and jewelry. Rosewood, which is operated as part of the City of Kettering's Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department, serves the Kettering and Dayton communities.

  2. Wright State University College of Liberal Arts. 163 Millett Hall, Dayton.
Ever thought about earning a degree in the arts? If so, you're well situated in Beavercreek, with Wright State University College of Liberal Arts located so close by in Dayton. The college offers four undergraduate degrees in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Music.

  3. Robert and Elaine Stein Galleries. 3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy, Dayton
Located on the campus of Wright State University College, the Robert and Elaine Stein Galleries are renowned for their delightful exhibitions. The galleries are an educational resource for Wright State University and the greater Dayton metropolitan area, providing educational and cultural opportunities in the Dayton region by exhibiting exceptional contemporary art in a variety of media. The galleries are the site of public lectures and workshops to support the exhibitions.

  4. Beavercreek Community Theater. 3868 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek.
Do you enjoy attending community theater performances? Or maybe you're interested in getting involved, making sets, volunteering with ticket sales or as an usher, or even acting. Whatever your yearnings — be it to tread the boards or just help the crew -- you can be part of things at Beavercreek Community Theater. Performances have revved up again after a hiatus, so come by or call and see how you can get involved.

  5. Oddbody's Music Room. 5450 Burkhardt Rd., Riverside
Live music your thing? Tune in to Oddbody's Music Room. It's lively, and for 18 and over. Coming up June 4: Randy's Cheeseburger Picnic Tour in Dayton. Naturally, there's a bar with all manner of libations. And, oh yes, Oddbody's is also the site of Xtreme Valley Wrestling. Check out the Facebook page for a schedule of wrestling matches.

  6. books&co. The Greene Shopping Center, 4453 Walnut Street, Dayton
Nothing says community like a local bookstore, and books&co. of Dayton totally rocks the indie book vibe and then some. Of course, they can fulfill your needs for reading, and if they don't have it, please order from booksamillion.com, either for home delivery or store pick-up. If you make your order as store pick-up, staff will bring the book to your car when you notify them you are by the entrance. Although the store has been operating with reduced hours, they are still scheduling live events by authors.

Whether it's arts, entertainment, cultural enrichment, or whatever it takes to feed your soul, your real estate professionals can help you find what you need in Beavercreek and the surrounding community. Contact Wright-Patt Realty today.
