Ice Cream Shops - Beavercreek, OH - Wright-Patt Realty

National Ice Cream Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in July, which falls on July 19 this year. It's the perfect excuse to indulge in your favorite flavor or discover a new one as you look for Beavercreek homes for sale this summer.

  • Jubie's Creamery - 471 W. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324 
    Treat yourself to premium ice cream or soft custard at Jubie's Creamery, located near Fairborn homes for sale. They're made in small batches and come in flavors like red velvet cake, salty caramel crunch, and funfetti cake batter. If you'd like to try something other than a cup or cone, you can create your own sundae, cookie sammie, parfait, blast, or premium shake. And if you're looking for a non-dairy option, you'll find several at Jubie's, including German chocolate.

  • Dairy Shed - 55 Bellbrook Plaza, Bellbrook, OH 45305 
    Dairy Shed started serving ice cream in the 1970s and has since become a favorite spot in the heart of downtown Bellbrook, just around the corner from attractive Bellbrook homes for sale. Flavors range from vanilla soft serve, which you can top with fresh, crunchy sprinkles, to Superman, which combines strawberry, banana, and blue moon into a swirl of deliciousness. You can also order a slush float, which combines vanilla soft serve with your choice of slushie flavor around it. And if you have a dog, bring them along for a sweet treat of their own.

  • The Dairy Station - 704 N. Detroit St., Xenia, OH 45385 
    Choose from hand-scooped ice cream or soft serve at The Dairy Station as you take a short break while looking at Xenia homes for sale. The flavor options are extensive, and you can also choose to order a shake or sundae made with your favorite ice cream flavor. Dole whips (similar to those that are served at Walt Disney World) are also extremely popular and come in a variety of refreshing fruity flavors, including pineapple. The Dairy Station even has doggy bowls for their four-legged customers.

  • Ritter's - 2531 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45434 
    Ritter's serves frozen custard, an ultra-premium ice cream developed by the French over 100 years ago, but they've perfected their own version of the recipe. It isn't fluffed up with a lot of air, so it stays rich, creamy, and decadent. The frozen custard is made fresh daily in flavors like creamsicle and s'mores, and they're served in waffle cones and bowls that are also made fresh each day.

  • Jet Freeze - 4014 E. Patterson Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45430 
    Start with a basic ice cream flavor at Jet Freeze and add a dip topping like peanut butter, cherry, chocolate, or butterscotch. Or ask to have it made into a sundae, parfait, or ice cream sandwich, where you'll also have a variety of choices to help you customize your sweet treat. Slushies, flurries, and floats are also on the menu to help you cool off in a hot Ohio summer.
