While Berns is still family-owned, it expanded in 2011 with the opening of the Beavercreek location. The roots of Siebenthaler's Garden Center date back to 1870, when John Siebenthaler and his father Georg first began serving the landscaping needs of Centerville homes for sale. If you love a beautifully manicured yard but lack a green thumb, Siebenthaler's offers a full range of landscaping services from design and installation to maintenance and lighting. Join the Frequent Gardener program to enjoy perks such as 10 percent off regular priced items, special discounts and early shopping privileges at seasonal and holiday events. Owners Pete and Shirley Kossoudji opened North Dayton Garden Center & Nursery in 1963, but son Pete literally grew up there. He began at the age of five working for his father after school, and now he works alongside both parents running the center. Their 15 greenhouses and 20 hoophouses provide North Dayton Garden Center with the largest selection of plants, trees, and shrubs in the area. Be sure to check out the stunning assortment of bonsai trees and healthy array of produce. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, weather permitting.
