4 Ways to Celebrate New Year's Eve Near Beavercreek
One of the things our REALTORS® love about the holiday season in Ohio is that there are so many different ways to ring in the New Year. The 33rd Annual Resolution Run is a great way for both fitness buffs and families to start their New Year's resolutions. It's an annual tradition that lets people of all fitness levels take part. It begins at 7 pm with a 200-meter Kids' Fun Run for children 6 years old and younger, followed by a ½-mile Fun Run for children 7 to 12 years old at 7:15 pm. The main event, a 5K race, begins at 8 pm. You can register ahead of time or the day of the race starting at 6 pm. Looking for a family-friendly activity to do on New Year's Eve? Bring your family to the New Year's Eve Skate at RiverScape MetroPark. The outdoor rink measures 70 ft by 150 ft, and it features stunning views of the Dayton skyline and Great Miami River. The rink will be open 11 am to 10 pm New Year's Eve, and admission runs $7 a person. The New Year's Eve: Fiesta! features Dayton Performing Arts Alliance trio: the Dayton Ballet dancers, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Dayton Opera vocalists. The performance features well-known pieces from West Side Story, Don Quixote, and others. Enjoy delectable desserts and appetizers before the concert, and end the night with the unforgettable colorful balloon drop. - Harlem Globetrotters - Wright State's Nutter Center, 3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy #430
The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Wright State University Nutter Center on New Year's Eve at 2 pm. They will thrill your entire family with their basketball artistry and awe-inspiring tricks. Tickets begin at $29, and for an extra fee, you can meet some of the Globetrotters after the show for an autograph and photo session.
