For many living in Fairborn, Ohio, October marks the official kick-off to leaf peeping, high school football, and plenty of fall festivals and events.  One of the year's most exciting events is right around the corner... the Fairborn Halloween Festival and Zombie Walk.

Halloween in Fairborn, Ohio

The Fairborn Halloween Festival and Zombie Walk hits town on Friday, October 20th and continues until Sunday, October 22. It's the biggest Halloween event in the region, and offers a packed schedule of fun seasonal activities and entertainment.

Not only does the festival give you a chance to enjoy the holiday and dress in your Halloween finest, but it also highlights Fairborn's vibrant downtown, offering an opportunity to check out some of our great local businesses and get to know your neighbors. Best of all, you'll find free admission and free parking for the duration of the event.

Fun for all ages

There's something for everyone at the Fairborn Halloween Festival. Things get underway on Friday evening with games, crafts and activities at the YMCA, plus opportunities to visit Foy's Haunted Museum and watch the annual Spooktacular Parade. The local band Beesly closes out Friday night with a live performance at 9 PM.

The festivities resume on Saturday, with a packed schedule of live performances. A beer garden and food trucks will also be available for refreshments. Amusement rides and food and drink vendors will be open on all three days of the festival.

Of course, the highlight for many festival-goers is the Zombie Walk, which takes place Saturday night and gives everybody a chance to dress up and show off their best zombie impressions. Registration is still open to participate in the Zombie Walk, which costs $10 for adults and $7 for children and includes covers face painting, "blood bath," beverages, and snacks.
