Buying a house can be like a rollercoaster ride even under the best of circumstances.  Emotions run from the highs of pure excitement to the lows of "a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach."  That feeling of: "Oh no, what did I do" is better known as home buyer's remorse.  Our real estate agents at Wright-Patt Realty have created this list of five ways to avoid home buyer's remorse to help you through the process of buying a house.

  1. Don't Fall Into the "Winning" Trap
    When you're negotiating a purchase for a home, it's easy to fall into the trap of trying to "win" the home, instead of simply trying to buy a home you love. If you're starting to compete with other buyers or a seller who doesn't want to budget, make sure that you are really in love with the house, the purchase price is still reasonable and the terms of the agreement are still within what you want.
