6 Things to Know about Finding a Real Estate Agent

Whether you're buying or selling a house, you've probably thought about do I find the right REALTOR® to help me? It is a common question whether it is your first home sale or your tenth. As you begin the process of selling your home or buying a house, there are a handful of things you need to consider in order to select the right real estate agent for your specific needs.

1.  A good place to start is to determine the agent's personality and communication style. We strongly recommended that you aim to find a real estate agent that you can "get along with." A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself if this is someone you would trust with your wallet. Trust is essential in a real estate transaction, and if you don't trust your REALTOR®, then you should not hire them no matter how many awards or "million dollar " sales they have under their belt.
